Well, crap. It’s coming on midnight Friday, and we go back to Toronto tomorrow. We’ve already become quite used to looking at an ocean through the living room window, and going back to our Toronto vista – a nondescript apartment building – will be rather blah, really.
The past few days we did the touristy stuff, visiting Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove, both of which I’ve seen so many times before, but there’s a reason they’re each perennial tourist traps. They’re gorgeous.
Below, in no particular order, are typical holiday snaps from both places. It doesn’t matter if you’re not much of a photographer. So long as you’ve got auto-focus, and you can manage to point the camera at something, or just close your eyes and point it any which way, you get a postcard.
Summer will come again. Just gotta hang on ’til then.
