Well, that bastard William Barr went and did it. Ordered by a Federal District Court Judge to release transcripts of intelligence intercepts as part of former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn’s sentencing, Barr told his prosecutors to refuse.

Let’s be clear here. They didn’t file an objection, ask for an emergency hearing to argue against the release, or launch an appeal of the judge’s order. They just flat-out refused. This was an order from a court of competent jurisdiction, and they said no. None of your business. Not needed for the purpose of sentencing. Piss off. Go bang your gavel at somebody who gives a fuck.

I don’t know quite how to put this so the gravity of the moment is properly communicated, but you do understand, dear hypothetical reader, that this is the end, right? The highest law officer in the land, already guilty of defying Congressional subpoenas and thumbing his nose at the House Judiciary Committee, just flipped the bird at the Federal Judiciary.

That’s the last battlement breached, you see. That’s it. The Attorney General of the United States just told the courts to take their so-called rule of law and put it somewhere dark and inconvenient.

Keep your fingers crossed. If there’s still any hope for us, the judge will cite them in contempt, fine their asses into impoverishment, and give Barr and his merry men [x] number of days to comply, following which he’ll send the Federal Marshalls to go clap the bastards in irons. Meanwhile, Articles of Impeachment must be drawn up immediately against Barr. This is it. This is where we find out how this is going to go.

It’s time to draw the line. It’s time for the Dems, the Judiciary, and all people of conscience to ask themselves what Bugs Bunny would do, and act accordingly.
